Clair Porter graduated with a BA Honours Fashion Textile Design degree in 2020 which she completed De Montfort University in Leicester. From studying Fashion Textile Design Clair discovered that her specialism is knitwear and from this has decided that this is the career she wants to pursue. She uses mainly domestic knitting machines but also has experience using the industrial machines.
Clair’s has an eye for detail which shows within her designs, nothing is ever plain. She thrives from working with difficult yarns and techniques in which she portrays beautifully. Her signature style is creating pieces that look elegant with the way the drape and the details within, but also what you can feel beautiful and sexy in.
