Recently I have been looking back through my work from my Final Major Project and thought I would post a couple of my Final Design Boards which I really like and think portray the development well.
Fundamentally Flawed is inspired by New York architecture and the flaws that are within. Close ups of the final garment. Techniques used are e-wrap and ladders to create a checked look.
Fundamentally Flawed is inspired by New York architecture and the flaws that are within. These illustrations are to represent what the patch stand work looks like on the body.
Fundamentally Flawed is inspired by New York architecture and the flaws that are within. Whilst developing my designs I considered different ways I could make garments contemporary by placing different pieces at different angles on the stand to create different shapes and textures.
Here’s the first knitted garment I ever made. when I look back on it I don’t love the project but I still love the final outcome! Created on domestic knit machine.
This line up is to represent the different ways an outfit can be altered or styled with plain garments underneath.
